Personalised Art License

This licence covers made-to-order art printed with details you provide — a name, a lettering style, a background colour. It applies to every personalised print you buy from faerypaper. Please read it before purchasing: by completing your order you accept these terms.

What you receive

A printed poster, made for you after you order it, on archival matte fine art paper at 300 DPI, posted to you unframed. You are buying the printed object; you are not buying the artwork on it, and no digital file is included.

Your licence

The print is yours outright — to keep, to hang, to move house with, to give away. The ARTWORK stays ours: you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to display the print you bought, for your own private, non-commercial purposes. It begins when payment clears and continues for as long as you comply with these terms.

You may

Hang it, frame it, move it, store it, and display it in your home or a private space.

Give the print to someone as a gift, or sell that one physical print second-hand — what you may not do is make more.

Photograph your own room with the print in it and share the photo, including on social media.

You may not

Copy, scan, photograph or otherwise reproduce the artwork to make further prints, files or products — for yourself or anyone else.

Sell reproductions, or include the artwork in any product, service or item you sell, trade or barter.

Use the artwork commercially in any form, including advertising, promotion, branding, packaging, merchandise, print-on-demand, or anything that promotes a business.

Alter, crop, recolour or otherwise adapt the artwork and then distribute or sell the result, or present it as your own original work.

Use the artwork in a logo, trademark, service mark or any registrable mark.

Use the files, or any part of them, to train, fine-tune or develop machine-learning or generative AI systems, or submit them to any service that does so.

Personalised, made to order

Each order is printed for you after you buy it, from the details you enter. Because the result is unique to you it cannot be restocked, resold or reused, and all sales are therefore final. Please check your spelling, lettering and colour before paying: we cannot refund a personalised print for a change of mind, a misspelling, or a choice you'd make differently afterwards.

If what arrives is faulty — damaged, misprinted, badly trimmed, or not what you ordered — contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll reprint or refund it at no charge. See Returns & Replacements.

Ownership

The artwork, the typography and all rights in them remain the property of faerypaper. Your purchase buys the printed object and a licence to display it as described above; it does not transfer copyright or any ownership of the design.

If the licence ends

This licence terminates automatically if you breach it — by reproducing the artwork or using it commercially. On termination you must stop any such use. The print you bought is yours and stays yours: you may keep and display it for personal use.
