License

Everything faerypaper sells is a print: a poster printed for you and mailed to you, or a poster or 4×6 photo print you pick up the same day at a Walgreens photo counter. We no longer sell digital downloads. This licence covers every print you buy from us. Please read it before you order: by completing your order you accept these terms.

What you receive

A printed object, never a file. A shipped poster is printed after you order it, on archival matte fine art paper, and mailed to you unframed. A same-day print is made by the Walgreens photo counter you choose, from the print-ready image we prepare, and you collect it there. You are buying the print; you are not buying the artwork on it, and no digital file is included.

Your licence

The print is yours outright: to keep, to hang, to move house with, to give away. The ARTWORK stays ours. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to display the print you bought, for your own private, non-commercial purposes. It begins when your payment clears and lasts for as long as you keep to these terms.

You may

Hang it, frame it, move it, store it, and display it in your home or a private space.

Give the print to someone as a gift, or sell that one physical print second-hand. What you may not do is make more.

Photograph your own room with the print in it and share the photo, including on social media.

You may not

Copy, scan, photograph or otherwise reproduce the artwork to make more prints, files or products, for yourself or anyone else.

Sell reproductions, or include the artwork in any product, service or item you sell, trade or barter.

Use the artwork commercially in any form, including advertising, promotion, branding, packaging, merchandise, print-on-demand, or anything that promotes a business.

Alter, crop, recolour or otherwise adapt the artwork and then share or sell the result, or present it as your own original work.

Use the artwork in a logo, trademark, service mark or any registrable mark.

Use the artwork, or any part of it, to train, fine-tune or develop machine-learning or generative AI systems, or submit it to any service that does so.

Personalised prints

A print with your name, your lettering or your background colour on it is made only for you, and the Personalised Art License adds what that means for spelling, changes and refunds.

Ownership

The artwork, the characters, the typography and all rights in them remain the property of faerypaper. Your purchase buys the printed object and a licence to display it as described above; it does not transfer copyright or any ownership of the design.

If the licence ends

This licence ends automatically if you breach it, for example by reproducing the artwork or using it commercially. If that happens you must stop that use. The print you bought is yours and stays yours: you may keep and display it for personal use.
