Rocco the Raccoon

Rocco finds things. A bottle cap, a button, a spoon that shines — he picks it up to look at it, and an hour later it is still in his hands. When somebody asks for it back he goes very quiet and hands it straight over.

Where Rocco lives

The United States — woods, backyards and the edges of towns.

Loves

Shiny things, snacks, and being told he is clever.

Working on

Asking first.

Says a lot

“That’s not… okay, so what happened was…”

Rocco’s story carries the value of asking first, and giving back what is not yours. Something that matters for a child who picks things up first and asks about them afterwards.

  • That’s not… okay, so what happened was…

  • I only wanted to look at it.

  • It was so fun. And I don’t have any.

  • Here. It’s yours.

  • Next time I’ll ask first.
